Prehistoric Shark

A few days ago I saw a news piece about a prehistoric shark discovered near Tokyo. It's a rare, ugly eel-like thing that usually lives about 600 - 1000 metres below the sea. We can't go that deep.
So with humans being what we are, guess what the Awashima Marine Park staff did? Took it out of its natural habitat, put it in a pool and filmed it swimming around and opening its jaws. All well and good, except it died a few hours later.
Lets stick to our computers and instruments and houses and clothes and leave rare sea creatures to themselves.
